The Atlanta Dream has announced a partnership with several local bars and restaurants to host official playoff watch parties as the team enters the 2025 WNBA Playoffs. The initiative follows a regular season in which the Dream achieved a new franchise record for most wins.
This marks the 11th time since its founding in 2008 that the Dream has reached the playoffs. Fans are encouraged to gather at participating venues throughout Atlanta from September 14 through mid-October, where they can view live broadcasts of postseason games, receive team merchandise, participate in giveaways, and enjoy themed drinks and special offers.
According to team representatives, these events aim to bring supporters together during both home and away games. Information about specific game screenings will be available on each establishment’s website and social media platforms.
“Established in Atlanta in 2008, the Atlanta Dream is the Southeast’s only WNBA franchise, playing its home games at the Gateway Center Arena @ College Park. Dream games are telecast locally on Atlanta News First (WANF-TV). Since 2009, the Dream has produced 12 WNBA All-Stars, earned 11 playoff bids and made three WNBA finals appearances. For more information about the Dream, visitdream.wnba.com and follow @AtlantaDream on Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok,” reads an official statement from the organization.
The team views this year’s playoff run as a significant moment for sports fans in Atlanta.
