Cartersville is set to host its annual Fourth of July celebration on Friday, July 4th, 2025. The event, organized by the Rotary Club of Etowah in collaboration with WBHF FM 100.3 and AM 1450, will feature a parade sponsored by Shottenkirk Honda. The parade will start at 9 a.m. from the Tabernacle Baptist Church parking lot and follow a route through downtown Cartersville.

This year’s Grand Marshal is Tyler Heath, known for his resilience following a life-changing accident on August 23rd, 2024. While mountain biking in Acworth, Heath suffered a C6 spinal cord injury but has since become an inspiration through his positive outlook and achievements in recovery.

Matt Santini, WBHF station manager and Rotary Club member, expressed gratitude towards Shottenkirk Honda’s sponsorship: “Shottenkirk Honda continues their commitment and leadership in supporting our parade as the presenting sponsor, and our club is extremely appreciative. Our parade continues to grow, and we are still actively looking for parade participants.”

Proceeds from the parade will support local charities via the Rotary Club of Etowah. Information about participation can be found on their website.

In addition to the parade, Dellinger Park will host community-wide activities starting at 4 p.m., including arts & crafts, children’s activities, entertainment, and fireworks presented by HSAGP Energy. Admission is free with parking available for $10 per vehicle.

VIP tables are offered for $200 each at Dellinger Park providing reserved seating for ten people with views of both the Coosa Valley Credit Union Stage and fireworks display. Reservations are required in advance.

Entertainment at Dellinger Park includes performances by Scott Thompson and Peachtree Station leading up to the fireworks scheduled for launch around 9:30 p.m.
