On Tuesday, April 22, former Cherokee High School standouts Chase Goddard and Nate Courtwright’s current college team, the Piedmont Lions, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels.

The game took place at Loudermilk Field. This was their third matchup against the Stormy Petrels this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 6 p.m. at Loudermilk Field against Maryville Scots.
