On Tuesday, June 3, former Etowah High School standout Jacob Fletcher’s current collegiate team the Tampa Spartans won 8-1 against the UT Tyler Patriots in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at USA Baseball National Training Complex at 6 p.m. and was the first matchup against the UT Tyler Patriots in the tournament.

The Tampa Spartans’ next game will take place on Wednesday, June 4 at 6 p.m. at USA Baseball National Training Complex.
