First National Community Bank (FNCB), a subsidiary of First Chatsworth Bankshares, Inc., will celebrate its 50th anniversary with an event across all branches on August 18, 2025. The bank, which was founded in 1975, will host the celebration at its 11 branches to honor five decades of service in northwest Georgia.

The event will feature food, refreshments, and giveaways at each branch. A commemorative ceremony will be held at the founding office in Chatsworth. Since its inception on August 18, 1975, FNCB has grown into the largest locally-owned community bank in northwest Georgia. It serves cities such as Adairsville, Cartersville, Calhoun, Chatsworth, Dalton, Dallas, Eton, and Rome.

In addition to this milestone event, FNCB recently held a Customer & Community Appreciation event to mark its recognition by S&P Global Market Intelligence as one of the top-performing banks nationwide and in the Southeast. This accolade coincides with the bank’s anniversary year.

“Celebrating 50 years in business is an incredible milestone,” said Ryan Earnest, President & CEO of FNCB. “It is extra special to receive such recognition during our anniversary year and reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence and community-focused banking.”

Johnny Waters, Chairman of FNCB, expressed gratitude towards customers and supporters: “As First National Community Bank celebrates its 50 Year Anniversary… Only with your support have we been successful.”

The bank plans to continue serving northwest Georgia for many more years while maintaining its focus on community banking.
