On Friday, May 2, former Etowah High School standout Alaina Smith’s current college team, the North Carolina State Wolfpack, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Auburn Tigers.

The game took place at Jane B. Moore Field. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Wolfpack’s next game is scheduled for Sunday, May 4 at 1 p.m. at Jane B. Moore Field against Auburn Tigers.
