Rep. Barry Loudermilk has announced the passage of the One Big, Beautiful Bill Act by the House of Representatives. The bill, which aligns with President Trump’s policies, is described as a significant legislative achievement for Republicans.

“Today, my Republican colleagues and I passed President Trump’s One Big, Beautiful Bill Act — a historic win for the American people,” stated Rep. Loudermilk. He emphasized that the legislation aims to extend tax cuts for Americans, boost energy production, and support Border Patrol agents. It also seeks to investigate and reduce fraud within federal agencies while maintaining essential services.

The bill’s provisions include measures on border security, such as funding for 10,000 new Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel and an average daily detention capacity of 100,000 aliens. It also allocates $12 billion to states for border security-related activities.

Regarding tax policy, the bill makes permanent the 2017 Trump-era tax cuts, promising savings for American families and increases in real wages. It repeals certain taxes related to firearm silencers and expands tax credits for families.

In energy policy, the bill reinstates oil and gas lease sales and mandates future lease sales in key areas like the Gulf of America and Alaska. These measures are projected to generate substantial revenue.

“This is a historic bill aimed at delivering on the mandate the American people gave us in November,” said Rep. Loudermilk. “Republicans have ensured that Americans can keep more of what they earn…and pay lower prices for food and gas.”

The passage marks a notable step in advancing Republican priorities under President Trump’s agenda.
