The L.E.A.R.N. Foundation is organizing a week-long event called “Prep for Success: Back to School Giving” in Dallas, Georgia. This initiative aims to provide families with essential resources needed for the upcoming school year. The event will take place from July 12th to July 19th at the community resource center located at 168 N Johnston St, Suite 301, near Downtown Dallas.

The foundation emphasizes the importance of education as a cornerstone for a bright future and seeks to eliminate barriers for children by providing free resources such as school supplies, clothing, shoes, and hygiene products. Dr. Lemelle, CEO and Founder of the L.E.A.R.N. Foundation and an Enlisted Retired U.S. Air Force Veteran, stated, “We believe that education is the cornerstone of community development.”

In addition to providing supplies, local organizations will offer services like complimentary nail tech services, professional hair styling, and health screenings throughout the week. The aim is to create a holistic experience that nurtures both body and spirit.

Families interested in attending can sign up online until June 25th. Organizations wishing to participate are also invited to join by signing up on the foundation’s website.

Volunteers are encouraged to assist with setting up and distributing supplies during the event. Community members can donate items such as school supplies, backpacks, clothes, shoes, hygiene products, feminine products, socks, underwear, and bras.
