On Friday, May 23, former Etowah High School standout Jacob Fletcher’s current collegiate team the Tampa Spartans won 9-4 against the West Florida Argonauts in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at UT Baseball Field at 12 p.m. and was the second matchup against the West Florida Argonauts in the tournament.

The Tampa Spartans’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 31 at 6 p.m. at USA Baseball National Training Complex.
