The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce is holding a free, virtual event to aid job seekers in improving their skills. Job seekers will be matched with subject matter experts to assist in areas such as perfecting their resume, strengthening their interview skills, and/or improving their job search process. Those pursuing new careers, needing to supplement their income, or a desire a change of scenery are encouraged to take advantage of this free opportunity to sharpen their skills and put their best foot forward.
The event, titled Work Readiness Wednesday, comes at an opportune time, as the Cherokee Office of Economic Development is holding their annual Career Expo on September 28, 2022 at the Northside Hospital Cherokee Conference located in the Cherokee County Administration Building, 1130 Bluffs Parkway, Canton.
