AAHOA has long partnered with Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP). Both organizations help their members, especially young professionals, understand the industry’s pressing issues and pursue digital innovation to improve the hotel guest experience. AAHOA Chairman Neal Patel has served on the HITEC North America Advisory Council for the past five years, recently using his experience and expertise to help with HITEC 50th Anniversary Conference this past June. HFTP recently announced its 2023 North America Advisory Council, which includes AAHOA Chairman Neal Patel and more than 30 knowledgeable industry leaders. The 2023 Advisory Council will kick off its program planning with a topic-development meeting in January 2023. Based on the topics they identify as a priority at the initial meeting, the council will continue to work over the following months to fine-tune the sessions and select expert speakers to present the information. HITEC 2023 will take place from June 26–29 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
