On Tuesday, October 11, Congressman Donalds (FL-19) met with AAHOA President & CEO Laura Lee Blake, Vice Chairman Bharat Patel, Florida Regional Director Rahul Patel, and a group of local AAHOA Members to discuss the ongoing recovery from Hurricane Ian’s devastating effects on their communities. Everyone gathered at the Riverview Inn in Fort Myers to assess the work our members have been doing to help their communities, from food and water drives to housing displaced families and power line workers. Jon A. Martin, candidate for Florida State Senator, also came to address the group, sharing his vision for Florida’s recovery and bright future. AAHOA thanks Congressman Donalds and his team for their amazing support of all Floridians, as well as their guidance on how AAHOA Members can further help their communities recover.
