Atlanta, GA – For the second year, the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons are joining forces to support those affected by ALS. These rival NFL teams will host a 50/50 raffle during their game at the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, September 29. The proceeds will go directly to Team Gleason and Tackle ALS, aiding their efforts in supporting the ALS community.

The Saints and Falcons, known for their fierce competition on the football field, are setting aside their rivalry to back causes that transcend the game. The 50/50 raffle initiative allows fans to contribute to the missions of Steve Gleason and Tim Green while enjoying the game.

The raffle will be open to individuals physically located in Georgia and Louisiana from September 23 – September 29, 2024. Tickets can be purchased based on location at any point during these dates.

In its inaugural year in 2023, Saints and Falcons fans, along with contributions from the NFL Foundation, raised over $600,000 for ALS research, patient support, and awareness.

Steve Gleason, a New Orleans Saints legend, has become a symbol of strength against ALS. His foundation works tirelessly to improve lives and raise awareness about ALS. Through this partnership, Saints and Falcons fans can support this crucial cause together.

Tim Green, an Atlanta Falcons legend and author, supports various charitable endeavors including those focusing on youth empowerment and literacy. By participating in the raffle, fans can aid Tackle ALS's mission to develop therapies for repairing or reversing damage caused by ALS.

Dennis Lauscha, President of the New Orleans Saints remarked: "Sports have a unique power to unite people, and this partnership truly exemplifies collaboration and compassion. Last year our combined efforts made a significant difference."

Greg Beadles, President of the Atlanta Falcons added: "Although we are fierce rivals on the field, we are thrilled to team up with the Saints to raise awareness for ALS. This collaboration goes beyond football—it's about making a lasting difference in the lives of those battling ALS."

Fans are encouraged to participate in this remarkable partnership. Whether wearing black and gold or red and black, supporters can unite under a common goal: making a difference in the lives of individuals facing adversity.
