The Atlanta Falcons are seeking ways to improve their pass rush, which has been under scrutiny for its lack of effectiveness in recent seasons. The team has not had a player with double-digit sacks since Vic Beasley achieved 15.5 in 2016. Over the last five years, the Falcons have recorded only 138 sacks, the fewest in the NFL by a margin of 23.

Addressing concerns from fans, Tori McElhaney noted that despite various strategies and trades, including acquiring Matthew Judon this offseason, significant improvements have yet to materialize. "I don't think it's going to be a magical fix," she stated, emphasizing the complexity of the issue.

Raheem Morris expressed optimism about the team's defensive direction: "I think we're heading in the right direction because of what we've done in the second halves of ballgames." However, he acknowledged that more needs to be done to convert pressures into sacks and turnovers.

Caleb S., another fan, raised questions about potential trades for players like Haason Reddick or Jamin Davis. While reports indicate Reddick is exploring trade options due to contract disputes with his current team, McElhaney suggested that financial constraints might prevent such moves for Atlanta.
