The Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos are set to face off in Week 11, both coming off close losses. The Falcons lost to the New Orleans Saints 20-17, marking their first division loss this season. Meanwhile, the Broncos narrowly missed a victory against the Kansas City Chiefs due to a blocked field goal, leaving them with a 5-5 record.

The Falcons' defense will be tested as they ruled out eight players for Sunday's game in Denver, including key defensive starters like cornerback Mike Hughes and nickel Dee Alford. Their absence could lead to increased playing time for Clark Phillips III and Kevin King. Richie Grant might also see action as the team adjusts its strategy.

Quarterback Bo Nix of the Broncos has shown significant improvement throughout the season. Despite their recent loss, Nix delivered one of his best performances against the Chiefs, completing 22 of 30 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns. His performance on third downs was particularly noteworthy.

Former Bronco Justin Simmons will return to Denver as part of the Falcons' roster after spending eight years with his former team. Simmons expressed no ill feelings towards his former team: "No bad blood on my end. I have nothing but love," he said about his time with the Broncos.

The Broncos' defense is formidable, ranking high in several statistical categories such as points allowed and sacks. This presents a challenge for Atlanta's offense which has struggled to score more than 20 points in their losses this year.

Running back Bijan Robinson continues to impress for Atlanta, having accumulated over 1,000 scrimmage yards through ten games. His consistent performance is crucial for Atlanta's offensive success against Denver.

The game is expected to be low-scoring and may hinge on the performance of Atlanta's offensive line. Their ability to protect quarterback Kirk Cousins and establish a running game could determine the outcome.
