Rep. Barry Loudermilk, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia's 11th district, recently shared a series of tweets expressing gratitude, legislative efforts, and historical remembrance. Loudermilk has been in office since 2015 after succeeding Phil Gingrey and has previously served in various political capacities within Georgia.

On December 5, 2024, Loudermilk expressed his appreciation for Chairman Patrick McHenry through a tweet: "Thank you, Chairman @PatrickMcHenry for your many years of leadership, friendship, and relentless pursuit of free market principles. Wishing you the best and Godspeed as you go forward."

Later that day, he highlighted his legislative initiative aimed at improving government accountability with a focus on reducing inefficiencies. In his tweet on December 5, 2024, he stated: "The American people deserve government employees who work hard for them. As well as reducing government waste, my MERIT Act makes it easier to hold inefficient, corrupt government bureaucrats accountable. @elonmusk @VivekGRamaswamy"

On December 7, 2024, Rep. Loudermilk took to social media to commemorate the anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack during World War II. He tweeted: "Today is the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, catapulting the U.S. into World War II. Let us never forget the 2,403 Americans who lost their lives; and let us pay tribute to the brave Americans who fought for the freedoms of millions throughout the world."
