Carl Scoggins Senior Middle School issued the following announcement.
On July 11, 2021, Executive Director of Student Services Sam Sabaka received the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders (GAEL) Jim Puckett Outstanding Educator Award. He had been nominated by the Student Support Team Association of Georgia Educators (SSTAGE) and received the award at the annual GAEL Summer Conference. The award is presented to outstanding educational leaders from each of the eight GAEL affiliates who are selected from member nominations based upon exemplary leadership characteristics.
This award is in recognition of Sam's leadership with Response to Intervention & Student Support Team and the transition to Multi Tiered System of Supports for students in Paulding, as well as leadership in this area at the state level.
