AAHOA Leadership Hosts Brand Alliance Meeting at Best Western’s 2022 Annual Convention

On Friday, October 28, AAHOA leadership had a productive time at Best Western’s 2022 Annual Convention, including hosting a Brand Alliance Meeting. During the meeting, AAHOA shared updates on its latest initiatives, advocacy priorities, 12 Points of Fair Franchising, and much more.

“Thank you to all our AAHOA Members, Best Western leadership, owners

and operators, who helped make our AAHOA Brand Alliance Meeting at the Best Western® Hotels & Resorts Annual Convention a great success,” AAHOA Treasurer Miraj Patel shared on LinkedIn. “These meetings give AAHOA Members the chance to have face-to-face interactions with leadership to further dialogue about the important topics on the minds of owners and serve to further strengthen AAHOA's valuable relationships and encourage open lines of communication with brand partners and our members.”

Best Western also launched HOME by BWH, a new extended-stay brand, during its annual event in Cleveland, OH. To make this new brand possible, Best Western collaborated with active extended-stay developers to create a lean prototype that offers credible return on investment. HOME by BWH will meet the needs of guests, while hoteliers will enjoy more flexibility in the areas of breakfast, design elements and operations.

Extended-stay hotels have shown the highest ROI pre- and post-COVID-19 pandemic, and as one of AAHOA’s longtime partners, Best Western is opening new doors for ownership in industry.
