Cartersville's Womack Custom Homes has been acknowledged on the University of Georgia Alumni Association's 2025 Bulldog 100 list. This recognition highlights businesses that embody the entrepreneurial spirit associated with UGA graduates. Matt and Stephen Womack, both UGA alumni and fourth-generation builders, lead the company.
The Bulldog 100 list ranks businesses owned or affiliated with University of Georgia alumni based on a three-year compounded annual growth rate. Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors in Atlanta verified the financial data for nominated companies. The firm has been a partner of the Bulldog 100 since its inception in 2009.

Womack Custom Homes experienced substantial growth in 2024 due to several factors, including their reputation for high-quality construction and increased interest in custom homes. Their portfolio last year included new constructions, additions, remodels, basement finishes, townhome community development, and a luxury RV park.
The Bulldog 100 features businesses from various industries such as entertainment, technology, education, and cosmetics. Out of the recognized businesses this year, 88 are based in Georgia.
An annual celebration hosted by the UGA Alumni Association will take place on February 21, 2025, in Athens to honor these alumni business leaders and announce the top-ranked business on the list.
