Rep. Barry Loudermilk, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia's 11th district, shared several tweets discussing historical events and political matters. His social media activity highlights his engagement with both local history and national legislative issues.

On February 12, 2025, Rep. Loudermilk commemorated the founding of Georgia by James Oglethorpe in 1733, stating: "On February 12, 1733, James Oglethorpe arrived in Savannah, marking the founding of Georgia as the 13th colony. Happy Birthday, Georgia!"

The following day, on February 13, he addressed regulatory actions taken during President Biden's administration's final days. He remarked: "In the final days of the Biden Presidency, the administration rammed through 1,524 rules and regs, placing significant burdens on hardworking American families and businesses." Loudermilk expressed support for Rep. Andy Biggs' Midnight Rules Relief Act to facilitate congressional review of these regulations.

Later that same day, Loudermilk tweeted about his visit with members of Georgia’s Civil Air Patrol (CAP). He wrote: "It was great to spend time with members of Georgia’s @GeorgiaWingCAP today and discuss their cadet programs and service to our nation." He emphasized his long-standing support for CAP over two decades.
