Rep. Barry Loudermilk, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Georgia's 11th district since 2015, has shared several updates on recent legislative and policy developments via social media. Loudermilk, who has been active in politics since serving in the Georgia House of Representatives from 2005 to 2011 and the Georgia Senate from 2011 to 2013, continues to engage with his constituents through these platforms.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Loudermilk highlighted economic developments under President Trump's administration. He stated that "Since President Trump took office 6 weeks ago, more than $1.7 trillion in private-sector investments have been made to bring manufacturing back to the U.S." He contrasted this with the previous administration by noting that "It took Biden four years to secure $1 trillion," attributing these achievements to what he described as "@POTUS' strong leadership."

In another post on the same day, Loudermilk commemorated Laken Hope Riley while addressing border policies. He mentioned that "Laken Hope Riley was a gifted student, a talented athlete, and the light of her family and community." He praised President Trump's signing of legislation named after Riley: "The Laken Riley Act into law ensures justice for Laken, her loved ones, and all the victims of Biden-Harris’ open border policies."

Further emphasizing his legislative efforts, Loudermilk introduced his MERIT Act legislation aimed at reforming government operations. On March 5, he tweeted about this initiative stating "My MERIT Act legislation is an essential step in fixing our broken system and holding inefficient, corrupt government bureaucrats accountable."
